Possible to update the bouquet for DM800 with the updated channels like :

New Comedy Central Asia
SD chn 516 Freq 394 VPID4310 APID4311
HD Chn 563 Freq 458 VPID1900 Apid1901

KBS WORLD HD
HD chn 875 Freq 458 VPID1920 APID 1921

U can try the online update plugin for e2. Thanks to uu161, ran the plugin and saw these channels & picons have been included.

Actually, I manually added the channels thru a scan and it turned out fine. Is there a version for dm500c? If I add a bouquet with SH style numbering, will the order be messed up after updating with the plugin?

It still follows the sh style numbering but the layout maybe different from yr existing ones. The plugin also install the new picons as well. Do a backup of yr bouquet before u run the plugin in case u want to revert back.

Master DBTraitor, is there a way to hide the reserved channel permanently? I realized it will come back after rebooting from start

Right click on all the channel list/ set keep flag option to ON/ok this is to keep the channel intact/u can go on edit the service data, under flag option only Tick the 2nd box H (hide) if u don't want the channels to be display on your box like eg. those demand channels/save.
When u done editing all the channel list + bouquet & u r sure about it ,select FTP/Tick auto reload setting enigma 2 for 800 series only/send files to Dreambox/reload settings on Dreambox/restart enigma.
For 500 series after reload command/do not select reboot/ go to the box power off it wait for 10 sec than on back the power,Do not create any bouquet for E1 500C or else u can't use the 3 digit direct channel selection.
There will be some minor mistake entry don't worry edit it,then send it again. Congratulation now your list is intact the same as SH channel list.

I believe u dont read the forum, just drop in and demand what u want. 830 hv been posted many months back. Kindly READ.

Good to try. What I did usually is manual scan the freq then ftp to dreamEdit. find the chn at lower part of bouquet edit the chn nbr near the lower right corner at center of page to the LCN (Local Channel Number) and ftp back to box.
With experiment then comes experience, it all take less than 10min and all done liao.
The joy comes when u can do chn edit yrself with this proud achievement. Good luck.

I hv all my 4xDB in home connected to Router 24/7 with Vionet wireless, so I dont even hv to bring the box to my table, I just do it over with my working computer via this router. Also online to restart the DBs. this way, can view, stream and access media files via wifi and watch movies anytime in any room via ip access. eg. downloaded to main computer from U-tube, funshions, pps, tvboxnow, hv all the latest HK series 2hrs after broadcast in HK. FoC some more. SH Vod still hv to pay!!!

However even if you failed, can always go back to Master UU161's online update. He is so kind to edit and put up almost immediately after rcvd new infos. Big Thanks to Master UU161.

Yup just added might not be the same as uu161 as i still use
