i tried the ftp method before while the bouquet listing is correct, when i access the channel number directly from the remote it got messed-up. Manage to fix it using the auto update bouquet plugin

Although the auto update bouquet plugin is simple and useful, it is still better to learn and use dreamboxedit to transfer the bouquet yourself in case encounter server error.

ftp error

tried on dm800, it works and move on to try for dm500c

using the following files, programs and steps indicated in post #1

• dreamboxEDIT_setup_5.1.0.2
• SGSH 09122012 E1 +picon

Got this ftp message when i select send files to dreambox

Connecting to 192.168.1.22.
Connected.
Dreambox response: Login successful.
** Getting directory list /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/* **
Starting FTP transfer
Transfer complete
** Sending file "/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/services" **
Starting FTP transfer
Transfer aborted
Error sending file "services" to the Dreambox.
Disconnecting.
Disconnected.

Which step went wrong?

apologies, ignore earlier post, realised dns on box not correct, after dns changed all seem to work.

After installing 24th's update package, I have duplicate channels appearing in my providers
CBN, cinema one global , comedy central asia , espn, espn news, star cricket star sports.

I tried to hide / delete them however it will screw up the entire list of my existing channels and cause them to jumble up.

Not really a big issue but can anyone help me out?

Try download again i updated it on 24th Dec & those duplicate channels is tick (hide) box no 2
Added new channel 809 CBN

I have encounter a funny issue when I send my own latest bouquet over to the box. Yes the new channels are there and in order, but there is also additional or duplicated channels right after the demand TV. I can only resolve this by disabling the background scanning at the settings.

I do come across PLI Jade 3 images which does not require to disable background scan and the channels are nicely in order with no issues. I wonder where the problem lies. Any expert advise?

bro, what is your understanding of autoroll?
Autoroll is only rolling the keys...... so what is the actual question you want to know? Kindly read the forum for more info.

I have not come across any set without autoroll keys since i join the forum. Maybe its the old unit?

i send over the latest bouquet, channel 809 is there but the voice is jerky, visual wise ok, is it just me or other user facing the same issue?
