Hi,

If I am not wrong, the quality bar increases with the other set top box. What is FTA channels?
If the tuner is not working, any way to repair this locally?

FTA channels are free to air channels. like channel 5,8,U, CNA.

If you cant even get FTA channels, it means ur tuner is spoil? try another cable??

U can try go sim lim tower.

I tested on another box of the same model however and it was able to get all channels. Only this box unable to detect the channels.

Did you test at the same box at the same house or at another house?

Tuner spoil then.. Go bring back to ur seller. Repair of tuner I don't think is worth. U can try sim lim tower level 1. Walk around to ask?

I am getting pixelated and unstable signal on GINX HD at freq 482MHz, sym 6875.

I have just found out that it is not necessary to upgrade firmware for our 1st gen FYHD as I have just help a friend to search for all new channels using old firmware.

Hi Tammy mind teaching how to get the new channels? I am using the 3rd gen but I have a friend using 1st gen and does not wanna risk updating the fw. When you mean new channels does it include the MIO channels? TIA.

He is using FYHD HDC-800. Front panel got buttons one. White set

Hi Chinwm, saw from your previous post that after you update FW your set could not get any channels? When you used tammytan's method it was solved? Or you downgraded the fw? Please help as I am also using the first version of FYHD. I am on white thou not sure if yours is black or white.

You can try any st*rhub customer service centre too. They know best.

Just do a manual scan. If not delete ur Channel list and auto scan again. Simple right?

If you have explore. U wouldn't have miss out any. It's at the channel list setting. Just go and look at it.
