Thanks Bomchacha
Just to check, how do we find a frequency of a particular channel?
and forgive me for asking stupid question as well, is there anyway we can save a list of favourite few channels and categorised it under favourite? I noticed there is a FAV Button. is that meant for this function? I couldnt figure it out when pressing it.Comment

Hello guys! As promised my review on this Q5 HD player!
I ordered this product last Thursday night and it just got to my house today morning (Wednesday). So it took roughly 4 working days for the delivery. Got so excited when I arrived home today, mai tu liao, jitao unbox it.
As recommended here, it is really the stuffs newbies (who dun wan to do flashing and more customization) to get. All i did was I plug and play. Did the NIT search options, using the parameters offered along this thread. Then wala, like magic, all the channels are there. Best of all, the channels are orientated according to *ahem ahem*. This is all that I ever wanted for a budget setup box. Images are really crisp and tidy, when the channels are HD, the images are HD as well. Totally blew me away.
A few things to note: No HDMI cables are provided, nor the cable to connect to the TV output socket are provided. The sound is a bit limited. Limited in the sense that the sound can reach a reasonable sound level but even when i turn the audio to maximum on the Q5 then i adjust my TV volume upwards to maximum, probably I am getting around 75% of my usual maximum. BUT no complains, I dun need to blast my roof off. Let me highlight again, the sound can definitely reach a reasonable amount of volume, so dun worry!
As I have more issues at work, thus I will not be testing it out tonight. I will do another quick review after I give a week of dry run.
Lastly, thank you DBtraitor for the awesome recommendation!
Cheers!Last edited by chitchatbox88; 21 August, 2013, 13:27.Comment

Ya, its a good deal to get this box for a mere SGD$90 for a HD box.
I was also recommended by a member in the forum to buy. After testing and using, I have never regretted buying it.
Since FY box has so many diff version and gave so many problems, I have long gave up the idea of getting a FY box.Last edited by DBTraitor; 22 August, 2013, 13:45.A wise man learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn more from a wise answer.Comment
