I had the same problem of cannot powering up. Opened the box and found out that one of the brown cables connected to the switch (at the back of the box) came off. Use a plier to lightly clamp the connector (to ensure tighter fitting) and fix it back. and problem solved.

Just received my Q5 set yesterday.
As recommend by most of our Bro.. here.
It's seem to be a good set to medal with.
Hope it really be able to work when N3 fully implemented.

Yes, the .cfg is update driver and the kdat is subordinate binary.
I may not want to upgrade anymore firmware for this cheapo box bcos I need more time to learn N# decryption.
Need many help from N# experts tut me this oldman. It is so near liao and yet every1 still struggling with all these outdated boxes.

bro, does that mean that no more daily/weekly record function coming if you say 1.22 is final??

P/S tested the timer record works good now it will switch to the channel, previously hit and miss...

also, not sure whats the difference between the patch and the firmware...are we supposed to notice something different if the patch succeeded?
