Yup, seriously hoping for a firmware to fix the bug of not able to tune to channels 226 to 228 as they are the main channels showing EPL (if there is only 1 match, most likely it will only be shown on 227, 226 is the multi-view channel if i'm not wrong).

First of all, by me asking questions to clarify some doubts may have offended the author or TS. By no means it was meant to be like that, if that's the case, I sincerely apologise for that and also a big thank you for the effort as well.

Be it 3 or 8 channel result, bottom line for me to ensure my due diligence and ignorance is exhausted before embarking a new hardware.

So anything wrong with fw ? Not if the hw has reached its limitation.

Can that new firmware be used for the fyhd white mhd 600 set?

Don't try. Once you upgraded wrongly you can't revert to the old original firmware. The remote control will also be disabled.

the fw posted here and in fy site can work for white box and black box of fyhd800c-vii. I am not sure of 600 set and the rest. Sorry.

Hi all members.....i am new here recently bought a black FYHD 800C VII. Have tried upgrading the firmware provided here but still not able to......it keeps getting stuck on BOOT. When i press upgrade firmware, the screen go blank and the LED is stuck at BOOT. There is no indicator if it is upgrading the firmware....been trying to get the epl channels with no success. Lastly would appreciate if i could get some guidance on upgrading the firmware. Forget the FW upgrade. The FYHD II is the easiest version to set up. Just do an automatic scan. It should pick up all the S/R 6090 channels, including the channels you want.
