i believe now what we need is the old firmware/software to make it working again..

You have to check if yours in model before or after FYHD 800-IV. The FW only works on versions IV and onwards. I have 800e , also not sure if its b4 or after. My original FW was 2013-04-08.Comment

The fw in this link might unbrick your box but will not have bpl.

Hey guys, super noob problem here. Have a quite old black FYHD800 CII (i think) that has never been updated. Super crappy firmware. Trying to update it now, put the *bin file from the first post into a USB and tried to USB software upgrade. And it says the file can't be found. Something tells me the *bin is the wrong format for this player and I may need an AP file or something. Not familiar with this player at all. Does anyone know the issue?Comment
