DM500 and N3 upc card

Been hearing whispers that peeps have got the new n3 upc card working on a dreambox rather than using the subbed box.
Using Eagle image V5,can any members confirm this here.Better to use the trusted 500 rather than that ugly pace receiver.I know that the card and box are paired but could it be done??
Could be a pile of rubbish but I said I'd ask anyway.

yes it can be done....and its being done on sat peeps are even sharing their
official n3 cards.....but.....as stated in that image download....

Ready for Nagra 3 cards as long as you know the details of your box.

meaning what you need is the box key and rsa key....only the box key can be got
from a n1 card....both need to be got from the box itself and not possible to
get it from the card....and if you do manage to get it from the card well done you have cracked n3

this is what i have been keeping my eye on from an other forum

If your receiver model "xxx" is old type ( was sold/rented with nagra 1 smartcard ), then it use ONLY boxkey and ird in camcrypt session.

Eaven if now it work with nagra 2 or nagra 3 smartcard ( after exchange made by provider ).

If your receiver type "zzz" was sold/rented with nagra 2 or nagra 3 smartcard, then it use boxkey and rsa in camcrypt session.

And i'm talking here about "models/types" if you have some old receiver from yesrerday ( but old one type, that was working some time ago with N1 smartcard ), and you get it from provider with N3 smartcard - then it also will use only boxkey and ird in camcrypt session.

I was working with some cables receivers already, and now i know that this cable nagra smartcards - from UPC or TELENET ( nagra 2 ) are working only under Sbox. Newcs don't make session with this smartcards - it is some newcs error. All this smartcards have boxkey and rsa, and work under Sbox or Sbox/Cccam.

Problem can be in case that cable nagra2 / 3 smart card with boxkey only ( from old receiver ), because Sbox can work only with smartcard with boxkey and rsa. And Newcs read this cable smartcards in wrong way....

Maybe with this cards will work Gbox or other emus... cardserver....

correct alex as what peeps want to do is just to get their
dreambox to read their n3 card as the cc boxes are crap

And why are people not setting up cardshare cable on n3 as they do on sat?
I was thinking of doing this when we go n3 in uk.

In ireland, sevice is shxt, so I (prob many others) wouldn'd be bothered on mmds if N3 hits.
Just got a Technomate 9100 setup on c/s on Astra 2, but def going to install motorised setup, for when the enevitable happens! Sat is the way to go!(IMHO)

hi all
just to throw my 2 cent in here i have a pace box sent away for boxkey extraction but its taken a lot longer than anyone has expected i dont know why but as soon as i get the boxkey info i will test to confirm what is needed. can some please tell me as there is not a lot of info with the eagle image what cam is needed to read the n3 card is it newcs or is it the common interface(assuming a valid boxkey is available)

i have boxkey and the ird. ive installed cccam and newcs on a test dk 1.1 image. ive tried boxkey number 1 and no joy im planning to use the second boxkey to see is that my issue as it is still black. i do have several questions
do i need the ird of the box to get newcs operational or not??

am i right in saying the boxkey goes into newcs and then use an n: line in cccam to read the card?
should the file be called newcs.xml or NewCs.xml for newcs to read it correctly?

please note i am NOT planning to operate a cardsharing server using my dm500 i just want to get my legit card working to get my beloved off my back she is ripping me over sending the reciever away to retrieve the boxkey so any help will be really really appericated

i was messin about with it over the weekend with a n3 card that
i had got bk from the n1 card and no luck
