I would say this if you still have the Solo2 stick with it as for around ?30 you can get a DVB-C tuner which will be supported by most images used for the Solo2 you will also retain the recording feature of an internal hard drive on the solo2.I am a newbie. Thanks to the original poster for starting this thread. I think this what I was looking for. I bought VU+ Solo2 a year ago, ejoyed it. But ever since HD channels went blank, I started thinking about owning DVB-C. As of now I do not have vm line as they do not support in my listed buidling, but soon I will have as I moving into my own property. I hope H1 DVB-C will serve the purpose? Can this record to external hard disk? Thanks for reading and replying. Sorry If I have flouted any of forum rule.
I have the Zgemma H1 it's a nice little receiver for the price but also having a Gigablue Quad+ with its 1300mhz dual core CPU the same as the Solo2 you would notice differences in day to day performance if you downgradedLeave a comment:

Interested in getting one of these boxes. Anyone know the best place to get one in the UK? - dont fancy ordering one from China and waiting ages for it to be deliveredLeave a comment:

Endemal what make of dvb-c tuner do you have bud?
I am reading that the box is cloned already (from those that support the support forum) and some boxes have the sony tuners as opposed to samsung and suffer from same problems as some cloud boxes. Pleased that your box is working great but looks like others not so well pleased and wont deal with AD. If the box works fine though great price.
where have you read that there a bad tuners?
I am asking myself if I should buy the zgemma h1 on mixeshop.com. I hope it has the samsung tunerLeave a comment:

I have set a 2S box up with openvix, started a recording on a premium channel, but I can only watch FTA channels through the other tuner. Is there an image that works correctly on record and watch.Leave a comment:

VIX are classing the box as a copy so they will not be supporting the box. If unsure , use a different image. I use a few inc hdfreaks and opendriod then there's PLI and openATV. Who do you think starts the rumours in the first place ?? , , let me guess ............................Leave a comment:
