Hi all, can anyone help.

Just purchased a starview 5 and i cannot get the latest firmware version 12 to work. It keeps coming up "not a file of this IRD"
I assume i need another firmware unless you know something i don't.

Starview 5 firmware

How can i check which version of the firmware i have. i have lost sky movies and a few other channels, but sky sports is still working. can you reinstall the same version to get everything back?

just downloaded sv5 2.03.do i have to open the file on my pc or just put mem stick in box?

Just drag & drop onto mem stick and don't forget to turn you starview off before inserting/taking it out.

most questions have been answered before,please read the posts,as said when nagra3 arrives first to go are movies,if you have v2.03 for sv5 all you can do is try a factory reset 0000 to delete auto scan your provider and enable keycode,if movies have gone the rest will follow usually 2 weeks then only 1-5 left to work.

Hi, Wonder if anyone can help? Switched on my SV 5 yesterday to find black screen and it appears I have lost all the channels. Did a factory reset. Downloaded the firmware, installed it, now when i come to search for channels it doesnt find any? Can anyone offer any advice?

the firmware ain't out for that box yet..they saying monday coming.

i just bought sv5 aswell mate.i use the 2.03 firmware.works fine
