press the power button on the front of the wii 3 times until you are at the last of the 4 icons it should be some cogs

This is only a minor point but if you reinstall Homebrew what version number will it use the newest 1.0.8?

then i pressed continue and I have options for

uninstall hbc
bootmii
view copyright

which next?

on v1.0.8 you have 3 options:

2. Install Bootmii on either Boot2 or IOS, it was on Boot2 before.
3. Prepare SD card, which you must do before you can do a NAND backup.

Now the idea of the NAND nackup is it copy the Wii system to the SD card so if for some reason you brick your Wii you can restore it back to original. Now it was original before because we are assuming Darkcorp was installed. So won't this new NAND backup will copy the old Darkcorp?

If it doesn't install 1.0.8 then Bootmii won't be available when you exit HBC, well if it 1.0.2 or above it might.

ignore double post press the reset button to select the cogs the press the reset button again on the next screen to select the the first icon this will start your nand backup and it takes some time

Don't confuse things mate she is doing well and yes it will save the darkcorp setup but it will still be a recoverable situation so we can remove it then do another nand backup afterwards...I think I can just about cope

good plan but keep an eye on, don''t worry about bad blocks just make sure it completes then verify's

ok hit any key to exit now we will make sure you have bootmii as boot2. once you are safely out of your nand backup switch of the wii but leave the sd card in now restart the wii you should now have the bootmii menu

press and hold the power button until the wii goes off and the red light is on, it's not ideal but you should be ok once the red light is on witch the wii back on and let me know if the 4 icon bootmii screeen loads
