What version of Neogamma loader is it that you are using with this install?

        Softmod can kill your console

Do not install softmods on your Nintendo Wii. there are many problems relating to updating the console. Delete all hombrew and softmod files before updating your console.
        Softmod can kill your console.
Unless the main board firmware was backed up, there is no way to recover the console. A console 'bricked' in this way must be returned to Nintendo to be repaired by them. If they discover the problem is down to the use of 'homebrew' software, they will not warranty the unit and would charge to repair the damage.

The best solution is to install a modchip on your console:

Followed this guide and got my first game working last night. That was We Sing (PAL) which I had burned to DVD and it worked no problems for a good few hours of playing.

Today decided to try running games from USB, so dug out an oldish 60gb HDD and Integral external USB casing. Got the HDD working with the Wii fine and formatted it, used WBFS to add some game iso's and all looked to be working perfectly.

Problem is when I load any game from USB in uLoader or NeoGamma they play for a short while and then freeze. So far I have tried Boom Blox Smash Party, F1 2009 and We Sing (which worked fine from DVD) and all do exactly the same thing.

Anyone got any ideas of what the issues might be, and more importantly how I might go about correcting it?

EDIT: Just realised the missus was playing We Sing from DVD still, have just tried from USB and doens't seem to be freezing like the other games. Don't know if this makes any difference but thought I should mention it.

Re-EDIT: Forget that last edit, We Sing on USB has just crashed too, so definitely not and issue with the ISO as working fine on DVD but not USB.

Hi thanks for the reply, yes bootmii loads but only as an IOS from HBC menu not from boot2. i've done a NAND backup but worried that if it get bricked I cannot load bootmii from boot2 to restore it.
