You can get the real thing for ?300 if you look around.
I hope they drop the price of the clone, its only ?90 difference.

i see the azbox on that posted link is ?155 for the az-box premium +hd that could be a good buy, clones are ok,if you buy here you have better hardware support without having to send back to china but you pay a higher price

Think I might pay the extra for an original.

Not enough of a saving for me.

Some lucky bugger I know (moi :-) ) picked up a second hand ET 9000 with 500 gb for ?200 off fleabay -

Clone or 2nd hand dont matter to me, as long as the price is right and the STB is what I want.

No way is that enough saving to go with the clone model over the original.

I've heard a few times now that neither the Solo or the Duo clone will have a sim in them.

the originals do not use sims so there really is no point using them in clones either.

Never knew that mate thanks for the information.

In all seriousness I think Vu+ clones will not sell as well as Dream clones, there is a huge price difference between the Dream original receiver's and the Dream clone receivers.

I for one will not save ?90 on a receiver when I can have the real deal for ?90 extra.

If anyone is thinking of buying one of these clones I would seriously advice to fork out the extra money (which is not much) and go for the original.

Vu+ do not get greedy with cost, so lets not let the clone market damage Vu+ place in the sat scene.

If the clones are good copies, watch out for them being sold as genuine on eBay - and from some online sellers.

If there good copies and take original images then that will be a risk, especially with suggested price meaning not much profit if sold as clone model.

I am still patiently waiting for the release of the Vu+ Ultimo. Wish it would hurry up.
