Sadly Its true, the latest entitlement update is preventing Sports and Movie channels opening, both SD and HD. If you put the card back in OG box the said channels work fine. This is with CCcam

Rumours Abound Today, and for the last few days about this paring procedure coming into effect. It looks like the newer 890/95 series of receivers have had an update which adds a couple of new features and ECO mode for standby and Finally it took them long enough Dolby Digital output through HDMI.

Now here is where the confusion starts people are saying that the box update now pairs the card to the receiver in a different way which appears to be true, But lets not forget that a software update to a Box and Entitlement update to a card are two totally different things for one if your card is not in the box it should in theory if you have it setup correctly receive its entitlement update in what ever you have it now, I think a lot of people have missed an update and in a panic have placed said card in official receiver which in turn receives both the Box upgrade and the card update and thus creates a problem.

The software update for the receiver is broadcast 24/7 the card entitlement is not.

People with older receivers say the Amstrad/Samsumg 780 and even older Thompson should give an update to the thread just to verify that at present it is only happening to the 2 latest models.

My friend re-actived his card on the official website. Then the card entitlement are updated immediately in oscam but the HD and premium channels did not clear anymore. At that point the card had been out of the officialbox for months! When he put the card back in the oficial box only after 2 days the HD channels cleared again but don't work in oscam anymore.

So this tells us they must be sending specific EMM's to the cards that they know have new pairing capable HD boxes. Because the card once updated it should have worked in oscam but it didn't. Only later the card was put back in the official box.

my mum got sly installed 4 days ago so i give her card a try it's working spot on.all channels are clearing fine eand card ent is till 23rd may

All HD channels not working, all Sports , all Movies not working. SD channels are working half of them. For Example you would find that Nat Geo +1 work while Nat Geo doesnt. And history SD would not work while History SD +1 still work. Also almost all paid for asian channels not working. Both Cccam and Oscam opening so few channels.

This started after card was put in official box to add a new channel.

They didnt call. ordered a new channel from their website, put the card in official box for 30 min once the new channel was working. That was the end. Entitlements are 29/05/13

Oh bugger. Just as I spent ?300 on new equipment to replace my old receiver and hard drives, looks like a lot might be ending up on Ebay. Sorry to sound really dumb here, but this affects those of us who use the Sly card in other boxes ? Or are people talking C/S ? Or both ? I have 1 new box and 1 old Thomson (that I use to keep a card alive). I don't c/s, I just use another receiver for it instead. So soon, even with the box key input, all HD channels will go ? Is this something that can be fixed in firmware upgrades or is it such a major change that it can't ?

I guess ultimately c/s will go with new encrytion methods but I wonder if the next round wil be streaming channels from a sly box. Ive recently added TSOnline to my dm800 with tons of channels via streaming some of them sly and wonder if that will be the next route. The latest HD Capture cards have the ability to stream live gaming 1080p / 720p 60fps so curious what would happen if you connect a sly box instead and stream surely it would work ?
