1. how can i update the card in our situation if not in osxxx?
2. what security configs do you mean?
i set au - 0
even all the block emms are - 1 for now until 1 week before entitlements run out begin june
3. are there in newer versions more security options? my osxxxx is quiet old, but runs smooth like oiled.
any advantage in newer versions?

you cant, you have two option

1.update in server but people are now reporting that updates are coming through in osxxx which are removing entitlements, forcing them to remove card and update in official box

2.update in official box

the thing is, s** seem to be doing this area by area , or groups of cards at a time, **** who knows, it could be numerical order on on the serial numbers of the cards for all we know.

but when it is your time, at some point , it seems your card will be forced to pair using the new pairing system at which point it is useless for sharing.

doesnt matter who it is, what hardware you use, what software you use, at some point, in the very near future all cards will have to have the entitlements updated and at the moment theres not a darn thing we can do about it..........

as there are a very large amount of variables in the way they are doing this, much of this is speculation, and will inevitably lead to the "well my cards ok" " its people not setting this or that up right" comments.............bullshit. its too early to tell if anyone will get past mid / end of june, i think next month we will know more being that they dont update entitlements past a certain amount of time ahead.

Like I said before alot of servers use the same oscam version then get the same unknown bug then you hear "there's something happening" in the years we have been doing it its been the same stuff mate, things get posted and spread! What you have to remember is there is only so much they can do before they have to send new boxes out to cope with such rubbish and that would cost millions so look at it in the real world. We've had the update and ours is going great, the problem they have is letting Oscam update the cards now they could be getting dead emms to their cards

It's total nonsense there was a massive talk and gossip about things like that but it has been for the last 4 years. The reason for some Oscam servers not being able to open channels is due to so many new servers who haven't got a clue how to keep up with updates etc.
loads of servers have trouble with the sports channels ATM not opening well this is another factor and perfect show off how you run your servers.

whos had trouble opening sports channels? , i think he is just hoping for the best mate. its a fact so far. end of the day i dont think this guy even understands how the cards update , no security features can STOP an update. (what i mean is you have to update sooner or later)

you have two choices.

turn updates off untill its a week or two before its your time then enable them to update, but if your unique emms come through and knock your card what are you going to do? nothing, nothin you can do.

other option is to update your card in the original box. but as has been shown when it is your time, its your time nothing you can do so far.

his servers going great, good for him for now............

end of the day they seem to be doing it in lots as has been shown some peoples card have updated and been fine, some have updated and not been fine.

end of the day we can only really speculate and the take into account all the circumstantial evidence as we will never know the full story...

peoples cards are being knocked off in oscam even though entitlements should allow otherwise.
new cards are being paired with the new pairing method

some peoples cards are updating fine in original box and can still be read
some peoples cant still be read

incidently i had read this on another forum..

This has happened to me guys I had two card that have worked using oscam for years now but the other day my cards had no entitlements
as if they had been wiped.

I then went to my original box to update the cards and all channels were now active so I took the cards back out the original box and placed them in the oscam box but now the cards are only opening SD entertainment channels and no movies sport or HD.

*** must have impaired my card which ment I had no.other option.but to put the cards in the original box to repair.

So for days I have changed oscam versions I have flashed boxes changed con figs pulled my hair out as all this setup has worked for years and now its not.

"So I had an old pace sd box in the cupboard and thought I would try pairing all my cards to the old pace box via the activate my card website from ***
After pairing my cards to the pace box the cards work again in oscam but the only down bit is there's no HD

So if your cards are caught with the new software update pair them to an old box to get them running again hope this helps"

All versions will give you the same result. It is not an Oscam problem, it is not even an entitlement problem, without proper logs, (not just Oscam logs), this thread is going nowhere. However catch22 applies, i.e. why post them on an open forum?

However there are a few, (few is the correct wording), logs been posted offline, hopefully these will help.

This is exactly the same thing that happened to me. I used no online website or rang them up. The card had not been in the official receiver for the past 4 years and I always had AU on so never missed any emms. The reason my card went off was due to the fact that it was my turn to receive the new update. Until it is your turn the card will work as normal in Oscam.

I have 2 friends who wake up this morning with their entitlements wiped out. It was blank. They havent put the cards back in OG receiver waiting to see if third party software will update the entitlement back. Little hope for that to happen though

did they leave AU on , or was AU off with emms all blocked

Newbie question guys. I have an active paired thomson box but was thinking of cancelling sky as the footy season is now pretty much over. Is there any benefit likely in keeping my subscription live with these old thomson boxes in view of the possible encryption changes?
