Just solder a small peice of wire from the centre pin of the connector to the solder point on the board. you could use something like the centre conductor out of a peice of coax or something similar

Im a bit of a newbie. Where's the centre pin of connector and conducter?. And use copper wire ie coax. Cheers m8

get a small bit of coax cable strip the brown outside of then the white inner that will leave you the copper solder it to the the middle wire of the satellite connector then solder it to the point on the main board where the wire should go

Typical, ordered another ibox2 and gotbsent the snyder that keeps freezing, first had no switch etc.

Second one looks better, but crashed after my first attempt and dling the epg on vix, openpli lasts a bit longer, but not greatly.

Hi, i done the fix soldered the resistor and been working full 1 day now before didn't last 30min-1hr, using latest vix 3.0 build , epg , picons saved in flash memory still have 90mb free, not had no issues and everything seems to work fine, although with same setup on vu solo , the solo does noticeably run much smoother and faster, channel hopping etc, downloading epgm can really notice difference

All of the 8 repairs i have done are still working 4 days later, but i have had boxes fail that are a month old so how long they last is another story.......
I agree the solo clone is a better box overall, that being said the biggest issue with cloud2 are the images, like the blurr on the epg. For me the openATV is the best of them.

Hi, replaced the resistor on 2 boxes, tested for few days now seems fine, had to get very small soldering iron and magnifier glass as its very small

you can always use small wire, the smaller it is the less OME it gives, i put 0,2 ome wire 5cm and it works very well.
Ps. tryed all images, ATV open gives me best picture and stabilty.

Hi, Can anyone recommend a supplier of this box that is sending them with the replacement fixed resistor ? I want to buy 3 of these for the family but don't want to have the hassle of having to fix resistors, I bought one of the first batch from Airsat and I have had no problems yet, I won't be buying any more from them because they don't take Paypal any longer. They also sent it with no card reader.
