      Where did I say I would ban anyone? Where did I say I wrote the code.....I wouldn't for ViX as it has a commercial background. I couldn't be bothered goading you or anyone, I tend to find that a waste of my time which is why I find people who get annoyed on the internet quite funny.

      Filling my boots is something I do when I put my feet in them Sorry for questioning you.........I won't do it again I promise, as it looks like you are easily offended when you can't answer a question.

                I would think so, using a 16GB pen myself but can not see a reason why you shouldn't be, which version of vix you using ? 802 patched by ps2gamer upgraded via menus to 808 works best for me

                    So long as the device is fast enough, mounted properly and you have the recording paths set.

                      808 is soooo much more stable network mounts work, plex works, matixhd skin works, all these and more crashed my box all the time on 783 well worth the upgrade imho

                        Hi Guys

                        Box arrived today and flashed VIX 802 and updated to 808, installed On Demand, TS Media, Picons and EPG, everything is working great.

                        I would like to set up now to record to 32gb USB pen drive and then take a back up of everything as I will be setting a couple more boxes for the family

                        Can anyone give me a quick tutorial on how set up the recording paths and the best way to back the whole image so I don't have to do it all again

                        I really appreiciate your help

                          Hello guys I am new to the forum and i need some help.

                          When I run 'dmesg' from the console I am getting
                          'Using 512 MB + 0 MB RAM (from CFE)
                          MEMC0 split: 256 MB -> Linux; 256 MB -> extra bmem'

                          So for running Enigma I have 256MB and not 512MB. Also it seems that the flash memory is 128MB. Is this right?

                              Pli does have many USB drivers included. The Skybox dongle works OK.
