hi, when i tried to reload the setting in dbedit...i got this error saying i need to manually restart. i using pli-image..any idea?

Rom files is in var / scce did u use this images recently?
I used to use this images very good & can say stable only thing is not a maxvar so when u install plugins check your var size 1st,if possible use maxvar images for 500 & don't use images that pre installed 3 to 4 skin that would use up your var folder & what u experience now

It allows more space in var folder compared to normal image so u can install extra skins, picons, softcam etc..

Don't think there will be a link for you to download keys and roms unless someone gave it to you.

are you sure your IP address is correct?
your box user name and password is default?

still cannot. i tried re-sending the bouquet and service list also cannot. still stuck at the main page. thanks for your reply bro. but any more ideas?

Ok, i tell you why darkstar is like that. For your info, you have already sent the latest service and bouquet files. So you have the latest files already. No need send picons, because it will never appear on Darkstar image
Darkstar is the only image when you start the box, it will stay at the startup screen and will not go straight into channel. To watch the channel, you just need to press the ok button and then scroll the channel you want to watch. It will appear.
Thats your answer. Dont ask me why, I dont know the reason

If after you done the above steps, still cannot. You need to go to your menu, settings, softcam and set default cam as mgcamd and restart cam. Then you can watch.

i followed the instructions not to tick the auto reload cause im not using 800..

Thanks for the answer so far never had this issue using this images but will try your method if i encounter issue like this on another images or Darkstar II

Did u select cable reciever? & test your connection 1st? sometimes it will disconnect or lost connection, try test ip again then select cable reciever / save / send

Somehow its the same for the bouquet I uploaded dated 290512. It looks like its stuck at the bootup screen, but in actual fact, all I need to do is to switch to any channel and no problems after that. I couldnt figure out why though.

Hi, I am also new to this. This forum has been really helpful. Hard reboot should means switching off the power and wait for 10 secs then power on again.

like what weitsung mentioned, hard reboot simply means offing your box's main switch and on it back after awhile.
