Epson SX125 waste ink counter reset

Well, I shall give this a shot.

Must confess printers annoy me know these days, they don't like cheaper cartridges, and claim they are out of ink when they clearly aren't!!

Seems I have the same problem sx130 with compatible ink. Black does not work. Does a hardware resetter help? or changing the type?
