where can i purchase one of these for ?80,also i only have experience of openbox type receivers,which are the easiest to set up an where would i find tutorials,all input welcome,thanks!!

I would think this is a typing error, more like ?180 for original , ?80 would be clone version which I have had, which actually work fine & the build quality feels
much better compared to the cloud i box 2.

newer version of vix out for this box which I found on another forum, version is 802 and it will update to 808 though menus.

This image cured all the problems I had been having with dreamplex and seams to work faster as well would upload here but it is too big for forum but a google should find it for you use this to search "vix 802 cloud-ibox2" as this the term that found it for me

I last update online cloud ibox2 Opanpli4 2014/01/05. I today update online cloud ibox2 Opanpli4 2014/01/09. I have seen update new kernel cloud ibox2 "Kernel 4.1" Restart ond not boot. I put it back last backup. Has or will patch new kernel? How to patch openpli new kernel?

Just to point out there is no version of ViX for this receiver and never will be, we do not and will never offer support for this receiver, the images you are using are illegally modified images intended for another receiver and therefore have no support what so ever, so when anti clone measures are introduced by the genuine manufacturer dont complain to us if you'r box no longer works.

there is always ways to circumvent anti clone measures they have tried it with vu and dreambox and there are still images out there so Ruberduck why do you always need to be so pessimistic about clone boxes there is always someone out there smarter than the original developers who want`s a bargain and not to be ripped of by the original box suppliers price wise

I could care less about the clone but we ViX are not going to get flack by people illegally using our image on hardware that it was not designated for. we do not and will never support these substandard and quite frankly hazardous receivers, but then again i would not expect a trader like your self to understand that.

I have full access to the GIT, read and write so i can safely say WE when i speak about the ViX image and the OE-Alliance for that matter too.

So what part of the code do you actually write to? When I asked about WE I was referring to people I know that write the code and I don't include any group.

I should of put that it was a patched image, RuberDuck I can totally understand your view point, last thing you want is tons of ppl asking for support when its not the image but the box at fault. Anyone who buys a clone box should realize it is not supported by the major image makers officially and that clone friendly images may not be made for ever by others that's one of the down sides to buying clone box.

i can understand the vix team when people say they have problems , and they have a clone box which could be hardware issue, i myself use vix images love the useability of them and look , i myself use genuine solo 2 with vix , also i try clones just to see how they run and most of the time the patched images work just fine and dont mind tinkering actually find it more fun then using a genuine box, but people who end up buying clones and then have no idea how to setup and then it could also be hardware issue and people probably blaming the vix image, also would give credit to the guyz that patch the images ,
