        yes m8 , bbc world news on transponder 10778 H 24500 , also al jaz and cctv on 12418 V 28000 , also music channel on 11900 H 28000

        so checks H and V and fta channels with english on most of them with good signal and quality levels

            I use catseyes on my e2 boxes so dont see why not

            just make sure you put in the usals correctly, which in your case may mean using 357 degrees longitude

            when on thor, check your motor pointer is on about 2 east

              Latitude: 54.0687?
              Longitude: -2.8616?

              Satellite: 0.8W INTELSAT 10-02 | THOR 5 | THOR 6
              Elevation: 28.2?
              Azimuth (true): 177.4?
              Azimuth (magn.): 180.0?
              thats what dish pointer says, so id put in 054.000 and 002.800 for long and lat?

                I cannot tell you myself, but I have a feeling that you can only put in positives not negatives (negative is west)

                so thats 360 minus 2.8 as a positive = 357,80 longitude (approx)

                ps:- good choice of font colours there

                    your latitude is, was and always will be 54 N or whatever you are at unless you move house , you would have to be on the equator for it to be zero

                    not sure you are understanding this GPS thingy very well

                        put in 54N 2.8W in usals and send the dish to thor5/6, int 10-02 at 0.8/1.0w. then select bbc world news as suggested put the signal quality bar onscreen and using your finder ajust until you have a picture. you will be dancing a jig when you find it for the first time (i know i was) regards mdt

                            you enter it like so:

                            Lat = 054.068

                            Lon = 002.861

                              I havent used vix in some time but would have thought that longitude figure would put the box at about 002.861 east , not west

                              in which case take it from 360.000 and put that in (that is what I had to do when testing a dm800 on my motor)
