surely for the saving you might aswell get a tried and tested vu+ solo clone that runs great, doesnt run hot and does exactly what the cloudbox does. i know times are hard but for ?15 extra id choose the V3 solo and stick blackhole on it,regards mdt

I have one of these boxes and I would not recommend it at all,
it dose overheat and then they play up a bit. for this reason these boxes are not suitable for everyday viewing. maybe ok for occasional use in spare room or bedroom for a few hours of use.
Ive tried most images, but image works the best are the blackhole hyperspace.

vix works fine, freeze free. lincsat also sells these. the trick with these boxes is to not overload them with garbage apps which to be honest are useless.

has anyone heard of nbox 5800sx. someone mentioned this on this site. checked on ebay and for ?100 you can get twin tuner receiver with 250gb harddrive built in. + enigma2

its not as reliable as the original, its not really bad tho.
but if you were to be using as a main reciver I really wouldnt rely on it. I brought it really just to have a look, ive had some of the freezing as other have had.
also after about three hours of use the remote wouldn't operate properly, but the remote worked fine on original. so its a problem with box. I restarted the box and it worked fine again.

where can you get a v3 solo for that price?

any PRC supplier for about ?90 delivered... i wasnt saying VIX doesnt run fine its just the 4 ive had/bought have all run perfect with blackhole on although i had VIX running on one with coolmans ect and it was fine. i agree these are satellite recievers at the end of the day and everything else is a bonus and should be treated as such and not relied on imo,regards mdt

Hi, just received the cloud Ibox with the fan inbuilt, just had a quick look flashed and setup latest Vix 3.0 and booted up fine, aint had time to play more yet, also anyway to turn off the fan on standby, or even on standby its using power ? as i know these get hot , will test for longer and report back if any issues, these could be best priced enigma 2 box , running latest images

Hi, watched it for a few hrs last night, no problems, left it on all night, and was still fine in the morning , but as i was going through the menus etc, it froze , the picture of channel was ok and carried on as normal, just menu, I figured this, saving you turning off from mains, just hold the power button on remote for 15 seconds, it will restart box

im using VIX 3.0 very latest build , i notice vix loses its settings like cam selection, epg setup etc, if sometimes, when you have to pull from mains without shutting down, or if freezes , anyway i can stop this ?

I aint really tried blackhole, as i much prefer vix 3.0 , anyone tried OpenPli 3.0 ?

it does get hot and i really don't think the fan will stay silent for long with it being on all the time even when on normal standby

Hi, installed OpenPli 3.0 , have it upright and seems fine, but really dont like how hot it gets, i have HDD Cooler which fits nice, and attached it to the internal fan header but it spins too fast so makes alot of noise, also have a cpu fan from pc which fits in nice, but that also spins too fast making alot of noise, any ideas if i can get a resistor of some sort to slow down abit

Limbard I removed the card reader and top grid and stays perfectly cool.
