Duo clone broke this afternoon!!!!! Help

Box is couple of days old. Left it last night to try and get epg loaded.
Today clock showing on front panel, but will not respond to remote.
    Turned off at back.
Upon turning on just shows red boot light top right and nothing else. Will not boot, not matter how many times I power cycle.

    Help!!!

BTW, I did not try and reload any images on it. All I did last night was to try and get the UALS sorted and get the 7-day EPG setup onto a USB pendrive overnight.

It looks totally bricked to me.

Thanks I'll try this again. But I did have a look at all the connectors when I fitted the hard drive, as I'd seen your posts before.
Will let you know how I get on.

          Tried this mate.
          Connector to main board.
          Fan to main board.
Removed drive connectors (to take out of equation)
          Connector to front panel.
          Etc

Basically every one I can see that can be disconnected was removed/reconnected.
Still only see red light on front. This goes amber when remote is pressed but that is about it.

Its noticeable that the fan is not spinning on power up. Could this be a heat issue causing the power supply to cook?
Last night was the first time I left the unit running overnight, albeit in standby ,awaiting epg update. Looks like cross epg files on pendrive were updated at about 2am. So could it have cooked after then?

I have read a thread about the red light on duo somewhere and something about C807 220UF capacitor on board needing replaced. Also the flash may have been erased.

i dont think leaving it on would cause this as i never turn them off

I've only had it running for about a day. I think it was preinstalled with BH 1.70
Yes it was working, although I was having problems getting it to properly drive my technomate motor via USALs (see other post from yesterday
The crossepg stuff appears to have been downloaded about 2am.

Looked at that thread and a few others. Seems it may not just be that Capacitor. Another guy had to replace the Power supply

Is the fact the fan is not moving an indication of that also broke?

Have you tried to reflash with fresh image on front usb.
Make sure you use duo file

It sounds to me as if the box has had some sort of corrupt file and just needs to be reflashed.
Did you format usb to fat 32
Did you mount usb in settings
Did you put usb in front or rear

Are you talking about a new version of BH or VIX? Or a complete new kernel. If so isn't that done via the serial link on a clone (which this is)

                          Re second set of questions
                          Pendrive was formatted Fat32
It was put overnight in rear of box
I didn't mount anything, but the crossepg files did make it there at 2am as I say above

If you had bh 1.7.0 you should have the latest kernal.
Did you flash box yourself and it should say v2 somewhere on box.

I'm a newbie here and only got this box a few days ago. I have not tried to flash anything so far.
Yes it has a V2 sticker on the back
