First of all read your post and try to understand your self what you are asking for ???
Data acquisition you have done to find EZS/key password (if you have found it then it is ok, you need this to renew ezs adap new esl (w204..)etc...)? what has to do this now with ElV/ESL ???, do you want to unlock esl/evl ?
ELV/ESL will unlock with proper hash sent to it, this can be done via EZS/EIS or some software, for locking is something else sneeze and it will lock.
erase pass (dealer pass) is yet something else, so please be a little bit more specific so someone could try to help.

The password is checked to fulfill some criteria before they provide it.
The problem could be your esl, read content and maybe try to make it virgin then adapt it.
read out esl and and ezs content and upload to see them.
I could take a look at your data and try to see what's you problem.
Also write here what tool you are using.
One more thing, that did elv unlock stuff after 30s you can always press yes it did unlock, this means key ezs have synchronized.

Do you have option to test password on ezs and/or working key ????, if you have received password from server then you should be ok !!!

Hello, the device I read Special Key with is VVDI MB. thanks a lot for your assistance

The VVDI BE Keys new version seem to have a problem. They read, erase and program fine on the VVDI2. I can even change frequency by IR and ir works.
Problem is once programmed and you put into the EIS then the key doesn't get activated. Light comes on and stays on for 2 or 3 seconds then off.
I tried putting it in and out so many times and when you read key on VVDI it still shows UNUSED.
I then took my other BE keys which I use and write the file to it and put into the EIS and it immediately unlocked and worked.
I tried on 2 different EIS unit. W169 and W211.

I wonder if there is a solution to these keys.....

Do you mean the free token each day? I may be wrong here, but i thought that free token was only given when you have xc mini cutting machine.

strange what you get for issue.....when use other BE keys like KYDZ or other producer, thats standard when stop work after week or not work properly on some car models...:(
but xhorse with his new benz key improve and repair almost all this known fault of others BE keys versions ;)
i self test new xhorse pcb on W164 and work very well... ;) no any issue. :listen:

Hi 4.00 have some realy bug added with this update . Have more 5 ezs w209 211 all have backup and read with ir on 3.85 soft or lower and now just 2 connect and reconized on 4.00 . Other probleme with ecu delphi crd3 activation and on old w203 with lower version with ir pass read and save ok now failed after 30% more test and same error no password found or failed . Please correct this and update this little problem

about ECU function its the same ECU crd3 as you tested before, new version failed?

for current problem PCB please contact with your dealer to send back,we will replace new PCB to customer.

How can you be happy having to return keys ? They should test them before they go out. I bought too many mb keys from onlyda to not work. what they say is sorry, the quality is not best at the moment, try the 2 battery keys.

I would be happy to pay more to have tested working keys. I really dont want to have to send anything back, or get call from customer saying key stopped working, and when you read key half the data is missing.

Same problems with autokeys.us. MB key quality from china is shockingly bad at the moment.

I'm hoping at least the latest batch of boards from vvdi work, so I can reuse the shells from all the rubbish chinese keys, but VVDI still having some problems. Last week generated key to 2008 SLK. sync in car. Key turns once. Key does not turn again. Key does not have battery inside it, but that should not matter. Tried 30+ times to insert, no turn again. Generated another key with battery in the key, and this one works first time, and continues to work. Maybe one off I thought.

2 days later same thing happened on Eclass 2008. Without battery in the key, the key syncs once, and then does not turn again. Generate again on same board, put battery inside key, and key syncs and works fine.

New VVDI keys are giving problem. They don't activate on EIS. Have tried about 3 or 4 vehicles and same problem. SAMIC said problem is in VVDI BGA Software. One key had activated on W202 EIS but after about 7 or 10 starts it failed and no response.
I think there is still some bugs on these VVDI keys which need to be fixed up. I have the newer boards as I have sent SAMIC also pictures. They are 2018 boards and not the older boards.....

I try to fix Merc W210 that will not start. After key turned it will crank for 1/4 turn and that's all. The car will start when I push it.

He have a micro below the PCB, and with this you can read both 51 and 57v of nec passwords.

But you need to RENEW the NEC after the password reading.

As i remember can line is the small green connector on w210, on this line it gives ecu signal to enable immo or not.
If it start for push it means immo is enabled in ecu, so disassembe EZS and search for the contacts of the starter, as i remember it switch 2 big contacts inside mechanically.

Hi, had couple of w164 in last few weeks i have problem with. first one 09 ml called me to say that the key can start the car but remote stopped working, i gave him a new key and he called a week after with the same problem. second one 2010 GL, called after few weeks to say that the remote stopped working and the key sometimes can start and sometimes can't. i use be keys, i make a lot of them and didnt get a callbacks so far, it seems like it only has a problem with the w164, when i check the key its functioning and has a signal but from some reason the cars cant get it. any idea?

After last update I have very little Success UNLOCK W204 ESL. Before 90% of the would unlock and I could Reprogram. Recently after update I have tried a few and all take very very long time and not unlock. Keep saying failed.

I tried doing w204 all keys lost today with vvdi BGA and power adapter.. it failed. Time goes from 18min to 2 hr to 4hr... then it says failed on bottom of application.

Them I tried doing without power adapter... also failed.

i took EIS to my freind's shop and worked 1st try with his AVDI

I wonder if it's possible that my IR adapter is bad even if I was able to read EIS info with it ??
how can I test the IR adapter ?
any other reasons for the process to fail ?

If you have HC08 on W203 you can read the password by IR
If you have W211 with HC12 in some cases you can read the password, that depends the MASK of the mcu.
Sometimes you have W203 on VIN but in EIS you have W209 or 211, they will be HC or ST12, on W209/211 you cant read the password by IR, so need to take out the ezs and read by jtag or online calculation.

On does cases you need to have key v51 or v57 to take out the password, or if you have OBD comunication you can use the online server to calc the password for you.

And does rules are not with vvdi, that aplies to AVDI, zedfull and simon touch to.

Very good CaioW, but it is not recommended to extract pass with server calculation on those cars(W203, W209, W211) - the working key will lose sync in the process and you will be left with no working key and no pass in the end. So if IR adapter can't get pass and key is not v51/57 you will need to do EEPROM work.

Read eis is OK.

Aquisition half way stopped and de timer stay on 00 min 00 sec. Then nothing happens and i het error aquisition failed.

Tested other car and all went smoothless.

Had the same issue with 3 NEC last week.
I deceided to play a little with it.
Put nec into the adapter and push renew button, after a few try to renew it, push stop button, check esl damage and voila it had fatal error again.
Than repair fatal error as do before, can clear tp, personalise, so it worth a try.

But not safer. These EZS module sometimes are hell to re-solder and easy to damage. Also EEPROM programmers like Xprog every time read a different content. So it's faster only in rare cases.

Guys, I install my first ESL emulator for W204 and I think I need your help.
I read EIS data with passwords and save them, this is clear to me. I replaced faulty ESL with xhorse emulator and when I read it on the car using OBD line I cannot read any data - got 'failed to read' message. Tried with the faulty ESL from the car and the same situation - cannot read it by obd. I now wonder whether this is normal or not. Should I be able to read xhorse emulator by OBD on car?
The situation on car is that I can switch the lights on, when I insert key to EIS I got instruments lights on but cannot turn ignition on due to faulty ESL.

Yes, there's always this - everyone is so good and efficient in everything when discussing things, but *hit can always happen. So better choose the safer way - I doubt anyone is making a dozen of these a day to be worried so much of the time necessary.
In the end it is a good addition from Xhorse.

You will have problems one day or another with w202/208/210, thats a fact.

To much old car, old pieces, hot air.. do the math.

Thats was a huge update, just let the power adapter do the job for 25 minuts and a clean job.

This is not a fastfood service, so 25 minuts is just good enough.

What I am told was VVDI MB can't found the NEC chip (Made by Japan) because VVDI MB update and close this function. It may cost several months or half an hour to update this chip and work with VVDI MB.

i have for you one very useful recommandation.....save to you lot of time and money, give back your tool to the seller where you bought it and use again hammer and some piece of wood... ;)

Tried to make a key to W210 today. Spent 30 mins aquiring data. Upload data. 78 mins queu wait, and time not going down. Clearly server not working. So a waste of time aquiring data. Why not put the current queue length in the software so I can see if it worth waiting ?
I dont mind that the server is down sometimes, thats gonna happen sooner or later, but please try to tell people in advance and definately put a queue length in the software, near the token check, so I can see if I need to get my soldering iron out. If you dont do this, and it happens often, people will find another tool.

Same with ID48 copying. Past 3 times I tried it, wait time over an hour. For me this is too long. Waste of time if you cant get it down to 30 mins or less. Put a queue length somewhere in the software that I can check before going out to the job, to manage customers expectations. Or people will find another tool.
