Can anyone tell since when models like w203,w220,vito ,for spare key by odb or IR on car need fast adapter and only fast function left?
In menu no regular option only fast adapter.
Earlier for sure was not only fast option.

Now i was told not possible do these models by IR or obd on car. And need remove eis. What the hell :)))

Also 220 model gone from menu in pass calc ,left only akl on bench. Now these cars only oossible on bench akl option. And forcescuse 2 token on akl

Pay attention:
When car's steering wheel is in the right, PLS switch mode before/after program, steps:
1. press lock & unlock at same time
2. when LED light flash, it means mode okay.

If not switch mode, then NO keyless function in right door

Download the VVDI app and write in the "Customer Service" chat room. They will reply instantly.

About the new KeylessGo function PCB boards - a funny fact to mention is we need to read the instructions on the bag.
They say remote must be written without battery and more importantly - need to wait at least one minute after you put the battery and before you test the key on the car. During the wait time the LED will flash every second and when it's ready it will go out - then go to insert in the car EZS.
Also must ensure the firmware is latest version. Didn't see anyone else mention these details here.

It is clearly written - only cars after year 2009 are supported. And of course not after 2014-2015 when they change to FBS4...

Correct. The blue wire goes to pin 18 I believe. Does not have an effect on anything. So you can use the VVDI2 obd cable with MB as long as you don't need the blue wire for K line

No such EIS with me right now. Check what I wrote in post #6172. Back in time someone else wrote only ECU renew is possible for these - it's available in the Xhorse blog page. So in case all slots are full on these and rewrite doesn't work you just need to replace with second hand EZS from other car with free slots or with working keys.

I believe it's not only W210 but also W208 and W202 are concerned by this issue.

i did many this old ezs renew, reused, rewrite with data from other ezs etc....all success without any problem, nothing was only erased till now or something like that, i fact renew process only change ezs status, data are still in eep, nothing erased in REAL :listen:

Solved. Key was bad. Even in first look it seems good(ir testing with all data was there) i make new key via AKL mode and everething back to normal.

I make new key on 5th position, this original one still didnt working. Remote didnt work also.
On pcb of this 62 are some bga chips, maybe some reflow can do the job but i didnt want to try it..

Only renew EIS will not zero dash mileage.
You have to correction mileage in dash too.
The correct steps are, first read and save EIS data then renew EIS and ELV, then correct milage in dash (can be 0 or any mileage),
next write EIS with saved data, last activate EIS and ELV.

Optional, need to use Xentry to correct car computer, otherwise that will be a fault said mileage untrusted.
but you can skip this, the fault will not pop up and won't affect anything.

dealerhash => erase password as VVDI call it, others call it dealer password as well.
For certain operations this erase password is needed to match sonder in a certain way, depending on what operation will be preformed.
As I have seen the manual VVDI supports Key Disable and enable, but remember first read eis, get proper erase password for your eis sonder then
prefom key lock unlock operations.

Sometimes unlocks first time, sometimes unlock after 50 or more. Easier to read on bench.

Early w203 is readable.

I used manytimes data aquisition with vast adapter on W210 AND w208

Never had a problem

Sometimes stops aquisition half way but when you try again it wil begin when it stopped.

no power adapter. But I have done many of the Eis keys and no issues. This is the only one. And the original issue was that the key went bad. I took out the mcu and read it and made a key, like other times.

cjYou need to have cable wich have eis, esl and gateway connector, can should go from obd to gateway, and from gateway will go new can lines in eis and esl.

For cable wich doesnt have gateway connector, you need to read thru fast adapter on vvdi mb.
Vvdi mb tool+fast adapter+obd cable+eis cable in fast adapter you have instaled gateway, and power need to go only in fast adapter not on eis cable.

If is AKL , sometimes on this type you have to do it 2-3 times . That why power adapter is the best to have it . Plug it in and just wait 20 min, no more in out of ir.
Also it is max 10 min job to read Hc12 if you have good tool, or 5 min with VVDI prog and adapter .

You do not need esl for this , Only EIS and Gateway.If you have esl in harness make sure you give K-Line to EIS with blue wire form OBD of VVDI MB. Look diagram at VVDI MB.

It will do that sometimes , it shows old kmh, I found it this way to fix it , just write back any file you have with 0kmh and make a BE key that will turn igntion On , Then you will see 0kmh , After that renew again and you have EZS with 0 kmh.

Diagram had a couple of components that where different, but it still worked.
W211 St12 adapter was was completely different as well.
Plastic cover was 209.

What kind of connection you are using ?
Make sure you have connect the correct CAN-H CAN-L.

What do you know about FBS3 FBS4 ?
Do you know VVDI-MB works on which system ?

Do you know original (Mercedes) non-keyless and keyless key are different ?
Ok I answer this, normal BE key and BE keyless key are different, of course the price are also different.
In car, the system and EIS etc. are also different.

Tell you something maybe interesting, if you put non-keyless car's EIS into a car with keyless go,
even you have programmed everything right, the keyless-start will gone.

There are many BE keys in the market, VVDI, Xhoruse, CGDI etc etc...

Then, why you need VVDI-Prog ?
Hope you know what you are doing and what to do, how to do with it.

If you want to swap EIS, of course you have to renew it, then write back your old EIS data to the one you want to swap,
then you can use your old keys.
Still not understand what is needed to do ??

Failing, I have done it as I mentioned above. It goes to 95% and stops, failed. I have 2 IR cables and both are failing, the writing process

Hi, I have W215 with working key and my customer wants another key. So I tried to read obd no luck, IR no luck (read EIS but not password) and VVDI says it cant be renew... So only way is take off EIS, desolder MCU and do manually? Is possible to do reading NEC from working key, get password and do it without remove EIS?

Only working key i have is a Nec v28, can i extract password from key in any way ?

or is only option to order me a hc05 adapter and read it with vvdi prog ?

your key are new bought by benz dealer, are protected through unique password, only seller know this and can use/programmed them :listen:

need reset NEC to factory state, when you will use them normally ;) otherwise no way :(

yes,the keyless function not work,original car key must have two battery.so you need use benz this car original factory new key to prepare key.

it is server problem, it calculates wrong erase password cause failed to renew, we had fixed it now, please delete BACK UP file folder, it default path: My Documents->VVDI-MBTOOL->BACK UP, then get erase password again. if not delete that folder, always get same password because server calculate with cache data.

With VVDi BGA Tool always after read password by adapter from original key it stop to work, then the solution is reset EIS to change hash key or write key on another empty position... There is a solution to do original key work in same position (without renew EIS) I know MBE tool don't have this problem.

You have two options - leave the key in the hole for a long time (10-20-30 minutes as required) or while the NEC is removed just renew it and write it back on the same position (no need to write it on a new position).

What type is was the key ? BGA or normal NEC ? FW51, 57 ???
BGA key usually doesn't get in this busy state as I call it, try to read key and see what you get as a response from the key ???
Key silent, key busy or what ever, for sure you can reprogram key and place it one the same track.
