Guys just to let you know, with @daxxer help and another EIS, finaly the EIS works.

PCB numbers from client EIS 285 238 8.L and the EIS i've tried was one 285 238 12.L. Today have tested with one with the same numbers and works at the 1st attempt.
I've readed both old MCU and write in the new ones.

100%.

i have all, key psw from v57 key, have erase psw, ssid, eis data, esl data...

im trying to renew esl
it gives me error, tried to unlock w204 esl with button, and its triying more than 600 times but no joy

what can i do?

1 EIS: get key password, get erase password ----------------------OK
2 EIS: save EIS data with Both Passords------------------------------OK
3 EIS: renew EIS--------------------------------------------------------NOT YET, IM TRIYING RENEW ELV WITH ADAPTOR
4 EIS: write saved EIS data--------------------------------------------SAME
5 ESL/ELV: renew ELV--------------------------------------------------IM IN THIS STEP WITH ESL NEC ADAPTOR
6 EIS: in EIS personalize ESL/ELV

so if i renew eis and try to personalise, i dont think it will solve anything, i must clear or renew esl

attach screenshots, when try to unlock esl it can try till 2000+ times and it wont unlock it

-for renew eis i had to do on bench, on car i couldnt (even with kline esl)

- when read v57 key psw with esl adapter it corrupted nec or something, i cannot open with remote and in dashboard said matching key (or similar) and waited a lot but dont match. Key not working... soooo desolder again, renew nec and write 051 key, and it went perfect, notice that was v57 keyless key :)

-very important to do steps fill psw key and get erase key when you write

-for unlock esl i had to stop and start again till 800 approx at fourth time it went OK and it did succesfully

with this newer EZS you can turn key everytime :D no need any power, adapter or wiring....no need any valid key for this steps :D

Yes, of course but it doesn't matter if it's installable or not. The copy you're using can always get bugged so a fresh install or unrar might be useful.
If drivers were the problem it probably wouldn't connect at all but it's still worth a try. Best way to troubleshoot is to test on another computer. This way you will know if the problem is to be found somewhere in the computer or it's the device itself. That's just the normal troubleshooting steps.

tried several times, it can do identification succesfully but not read psw, i think its a bug or something not supported, anyway that car is solved

almost everytime after NEC desoldering need to be all pins cleaned with solder iron from down side again...because there stay residue of tin and this then higher then other pins and not rightly connected in socket... :)

now success used ELV emulator/simulator in W204 :)

1. EIS: read data by OBD from EIS/EZS ...... OK
2. EIS: get erase password ....... OK
3. password calc.: get key password through calc.process and 1 token used ......OK
4. EIS: save all data of EIS ....... OK
5. EIS: renew EIS/EZS through IR ....... OK
6. EIS: load back saved data ........ OK
7. EIS: write data to EIS/EZS ...... OK
8. EIS: personalise ELV emulator in EIS/EZS unit - success..... OK
9. EIS and ELV now working and car start ;)
10. ELV emulator/simulator from Xhorse have sound (unlock and lock job) almost as original ELV :D

after all this steps still missed VIN in EIS/EZS, and fault in ESP because not see VIN from EIS,
then finished with XENTRY and write VIN to EIS/EZS in EIS/EZS unit finished.... OK
erase all faults ..... OK

this is EU car, then 433 Mhz :) i needn't anything changed, then this is only pictures for education ;)
VVDI can program keyless NEC from key, but i not tested, my keyless have 100% function, not need there anything to do :)

i not forget write VIN, click YES, but instead them i haven't then VIN there, must do it finished in Xentry :)
because ESP have fault, when not see any VIN from EZS/EIS :(

i do all steps so what i described and after try start car, all okey, only ESP light ON, then i read it with Xentry and there was fault with VIN,
i look in EZS through Xentry and there was: yyyyyyyyyy and marked status: writing VIN wasn't locked, then i try to write there VIN and finished...
erase all faults and ESP after OK, no any more faults in CAR...(was there in other units too some VIN faults...)

Yes this is true and this what i actually did at the beginning i did exactly as u mentioned and all was successfully ok but how come remote not working and also msg displayed key is not recognized to the car this is the question must wait until tomorrow for samic give us the solution

need more times, i unlock NEC from 3x blocked W204 ELV, i think it take 3-5 attempts, each delay 100-1000 times cca, don't know exactly now...
only try....failed...try....failed....try....success ;)

Key no belong to car? So it's either password error or hash data incorrect.

A216 905 00 00 EIS with working key. Mechanic disconnected battery and worked on vehicle then reconnected, now cluster don't turn on when push start or turning key in EIS. Connected VVDI and did EIS test and it states EIS and Key not synchronized, either key damaged or EIS lost data.
I think EIS lost data because Key is reading fine.

Attached is IR and OBD reading of EIS.

Suggestions? Seems like VVDI can't do lost keys for A216.

;) old data you can get from old ECU through steps in DAS/Xentry or directly use some EEPROM read or flash read, but then better to have the same part number...in this case...

Today I did my first W204 key using the VVDI BGA. Did it on the car. The online password calculation failed 2 times. On the third attempt it passed and got password.
Is there a way of getting password from existing key? The key was the NEC chip type key. My new key was the BE China keys.

Anyhow, quite pleased with the VVDI BGA tool so far. Works smooth and easy to use.

When is your NEC key version .51 or .57, then you can get pass from this NEC key directly, desolder NEC and read it in adapter...no need calc pass through online... ;)

with VVDI MB BGA tool where is GW needed connected as interface for CAN communication ... :listen:

Read password by IR means eis password and this work for certain type of eis not all and if u read password by nec adapter u need to rewrite the key data back to the nec u can also read eis by vvdi prog or any device and load dump to vvdi mb and continue key calculation no need for the poor skc it is rubbish good luck

not need to write VIN in ELV W204/212 emulator, first must be RENEWED and after in right moment PERSONALISED to EZS/EIS,
which are in that moment after his RENEW in not activated status :listen:
not need to have fear from RENEW of EZS/EIS, because that not mean ERASE unit, but only change his status from activated to NON-activated and you have all data from EZS/EIS before as backup when happen't something wrong... ;)

with the same procedure you can assign 2hand ESL/ELV W204/212 unit, which must RENEWed too,
there is enough to have only erase password for that step. :listen:

A: about W204 all key lost(change new EIS),refer to following steps,maybe helpful:
1.Read EIS data via obd,then Save EIS data
2.adapt ESL:Read ESL data->Get Erase Password->Renew ESL
3.Change new EIS, Load EIS data(step1)->write Key Password(enter manually and at random)->Write EIS data
4.Personalize W204 ESL
5.Load EIS data(with Key Password)->Prepare Key File
6.Input new Key to device IR reader->Load Key file->write
7.Insert new Key to EIS->EIS will learn the new key->key learn success

I got a customer with W204. Both keys BURNT...... Yes Husband / wife fight:guns: and she put them on the stove and cooked them.:ahhhhh::ahhhhh:
Keys were the NEC type but couldn't read the NEC as they were burnt properly.
Now I got the EIS. Read the data using the OBD cable. Then pressed get password. It got the Erase password.
Is there a need to RENEW this EIS or what is the way forward to get a new key programmed on the EIS for the customer?

Really appreciate your help. It's my first time on the W204.

In SMART model after 2006 the IGN is mechanical with remote ID46, GearBox is model Mitsubishi and Engine ECU is like mercedes. Anybody has tested to renew engine ECU? Is the same strategy of Mercedes with drive authorisation or different ?

The original motors used in W204 ELV are chinese (Johnson Electric), you have to be more specific.

There are people selling original ones on ebay/aliexpress. They cost double/triple of the crappy cheap ones you are probably using.

Can thie VVDI BGA do ECU personalization on A-Class W168 ECU? It's not the IR smart keys but the older transponder key type vehicle.
Fitted emulator on ECU and need to do personalization.

did you have all version's of keys with a tick ? i had this once as i only wanted v51 but had to tick 011,041 and 051 then it worked ok , hope this helps..

- from your ORI key desolder NEC chip, put it to the NEC adapter and reprogram it with dump for this key nr.1, solder back to PCB and use this key in EZS to teach in as new-one key :listen:

i try today again next 3 pcs, and 1 pcs erase success, 2nd and 3rd pcs erase failed as yours( i think its only some BUG )
...but when again read data, then all 3 renewed, look at your picture...
your have status: Personalized = NO, Activated = NO this is now as NEW state...prepared for use in car as NEW :listen:

ISM unit for offline use ok, but DSM unit is very different inside that older ISM, cover more models FBS3 and FBS4 too,
then is not so easy to use it again without right data inside...when you don't know nothing about this newer part, then not use it... :listen:
