Yes u can use external hdd for recording purpose.

i'm using DM800SE. i selected create bouquet>make bouquet for ch852 Ruyi Hokkien Channel on demand.

U can only view those demand tv using original sh box and not on dreambox.

since last nite i'm only able to watch chn 5,8,u etc but not other SH channels. anyone encounter the same problem?

If it a clone box from dream multimedia, it is the same. C or S denotes the tuner where c is for cable and s is for satellite.

i've tried to flash but it won't allow. as i dun have the username and password. tried using default, root and dreambox doesn't help.

Use dreamup to flash.

I've tried using dreamup to flash. but due to the username and password was not the default (root , dreambox) i can't telnet and flash it.
