Tried. Both are jerky. But set 1 is more jerky. Guess i stick with set 2. Will try a different cable etc tml. Really ty so much for helping
Edit: please dun kill me guys.. I cleaned the head of my cable, box and cable point. Now it works flawlessly. Just in time. Tks everyone for the help esp ypvs125 & uu161.

So the key point to note for those having jerky picture and unable to get the channels after doing an auto or manual scan is signal feeding issue and not the bouquet itself.

Yup yup. If after trying 135500 & 136000 still having distorted image it means it's a signal issue for tat frequency.

Next to try will be remove splitter if you are using any.

Then try wiping all the cables points which is wat works for me.

If still distorted then probably try another cable point in the house or buy a signal booster from slt.

Just sharing my experience. Hope this helps.

For those still cannot watch, you may try below mentioned.

1st. Remove splitter if any and connect direct from the wall point to the box. The wall point preferred to be the original built point in your house not those type that renovation contractor lay to bedroom.

2nd. You need to use a good quality signal cable. A good quality cable come with 75ohm and support bandwidth between 45-862MHz.
(A two meter long cable only cost around $7 in SLT)

3rd. You may want to try a signal amplifier booster to stabilize the incoming signal before you to the box. Get those signal amplifier booster that need AC power.
(A signal amplifier booster only cost $15 in SLT)

If all above mentioned have been done and still cannot watch. That's mean your box is unstable with the broadcast signal. Likely the tuner in the box is having problem. Hope these help you guys. Cheers.

Please allow me to add one more point which is NOT recommend. If u are living in flat, outside the corridor somewhere there is a big white box. All the cables connection which is route to each flat main wall point is inside. If u have seen what's inside the box u will know what I mean. Sometimes u just need to tighten the connection. If I remember correctly each cable that route to your wall point is connected with an amplifed spiltter.
But then again chances are the big box is lockup..haha. Take a look outside ur flat , sometimes the box is not locked up. I have seen a few boxes that are not lockup. But again please please do it when everybody is asleep..haha

Hi puttoon, those corridor signal cable riser box are complicated. Yes, they do come with amplifier booster but those amplifier booster are running on REMOTE power. Their connection are complicated too. Lastly you got no key to open the riser unless it was not locked. My advise is simply just get a indoor signal amplifier booster that uses LOCAL power. Cheers.

Yup u are absolutely rite that's y I say its NOT recommended to do so unless u know what you are doing provided the box is not lock up.

i have jerky images and tried many freq... thanks for all forums contribution... mine is signal issue.. i removed my splitter and use direct connection.. i have HD image now !!.. later shall source for an 3-way amp as I still need to use the splitter

For those who are able to view the channels, can tell me what is the SNR ratio??

I am getting about SNR 74% even after cleaning the contacts and also tried 135500 to 136000 MHz in steps on 100 MHz increments.

Guess I need an amplifier?

I'm using a Black Box 500 running OpenPLI software. everything installs perfectly but I'm only getting FTA channels. When I switch to a SH cable channel it's black, but the program info is displayed at the bottom.
