I have a DM800HD-C. Trying to update my channels to watch Bee.Pii.LL

Downloaded E2SG-Bouquet-082013

Dreambox set : Pluck in Lan cable. Hold power button + pluck in power adapter.... get ip 192.168.0.108

Dreamboxedit : Confirmed 192.168.0.108 is set. Username (root), password (dreambox), selected enigma2, http port 80, ftp port 21, SAVE!

Clicked FTP button --> confirm directory point to right folder, ip address correct, click "Send files to dreambox", I get this message "Connecting to 192.168.0.108.
Could not connect to Dreambox. Check IP Address, network settings and status of Dreambox."

Any1 know what went wrong?

Did you read post #692 above talks about a newbie guide?
Always do a complete image backup (which will include the magic beans files) before you attempt to do anything

Also why were u updating yr image anyway? uodating image has nothing to do with the BP oil Elle magazine pages

the no. u quoted are measured in dB (decibels) while SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) is measured in %
In my OpenPLi image by master y..125 there is a setting on Menu -> Setup -> System -> User Interface -> Show SNR percentage instead of dB values ...... is set to "NO"

from my set 37.6 dB (channel U) correspond to 89%
so for yr 34-36 dB could correspond to 80% roughly ??? just guessing

My box on channel u 99%, football channel 99% . But bee pee la around 74%- 80% and sometime at 0% ( tuner fail) still unable to watch ; ( .. any tip guy

What % of the time is yr tuner @ 0% i.e fail?

Finally I fix my soccer channel error when it 80% .. need so blend of my cable wire..

Master 125 has previously posted 3 bouquet. Did u try them? Different set do make a different on my box.

In DBedit option you can test ip connection? One other advice from posted before was to use older version

Cos I tried updating manually from the player.. no response.

master y...125 published a Newnigma3.3.1 800se image which had the BP Oil Elle Magazine pages in them. No "superman" keys tough. u can try this image. good luck

Now my SNR is 72% (30.6db) AGC @ 42% and main bee peeing page is fully pixelated and speech stuttering :-(

Believe our Green Fat Pipe is purposely smoking us around with their lousy smoke signals. Did not change or touch anything on my set.

mine is 89% & 93%.. no pixelated on B*P*L channels.. all good.. the rest all normal..

Well i just tightened the end of the cable to my set and moved the cable a bit to kind of move the tuner inside am now getting SNR of 76-78%.

looks like touch and go here and no secret recipe for low signal reception.
blame the green smoking fat pipe people for bot giving us different signal strengths for different pages
