What program should I use to backup my keys and stuff? I bought a DM500C but the seller don't release the password for me to telnet in thus I need to reflash it and lose all settings.

Like that got no chance to backup the keys. Just backup using dreamup for the full image in case box got problem and u can reflash it back. If he tell u the password, how to make a profit.

If I were to reflash it with another firmware, will the keys be lost? Reflashing with another firmware is one way to reset the password for root via telnet.

Hello experts, I have 800se and last night 2 of my chinese channels says "tune failed" - 856 and 859.

I am using the latest bouquet on the first post of this thread.
May I know how to get the 2 channels back?

i can't download the file, it says i have to post to get myself a download...can someone email me all the things i need to know, i lost all my channels dm800hd se model, now im stuck and don't know what to so, been downloading dreamboxedit but i dont know how to use it, help... [email protected]
if possible teach me how to add local and overseas channels please...really don't understand the basics...

Then I suggest you read the basics before asking any questions. Only post problems relevant to your box and not what you wanna know.... We dont write books

i have installed as said and all the channels shows up on my dreambox, but it's a black screen!...only those that is on cable is black screen, i can view the channel name like HBO and the time the movie ends and all thatbut black screen and those from a normal tv shows are the only ones able to view, any reason why it is like this?

Hi experts & members here, I have just bought a dm800se from china website and did ask them for loading all channels for use in sg before sending it but sadly they didn't load anything for sg but china channel. So after seaching around and found this forum. I manage to load sg image "SG-Dream Elite V3.0-dm800se(Ver10-r5)" #84b sim2 loader and able too have only the list from SH but can't really view the channels except FTA channels. I saw some post regarding the key but my unit ship from china without the key needed for sg usage....so any kind expert can help me out here? Many thanks in advance bros.

It is better to get back to yr supplier since it is their mistake for not loading the sg image when u have asked them to.

Same answer goes for you.... go back to whoever sell you the box for help
and ask them to guide you accordingly
