you will still have the sound issue on an original box, its a problem with the box and not the image.

But the clones seem to be fine, well mine is anyway.

@aftermath is it? i have a clone and the sound is low, as soon as i switch my TM9100 one it's so loud.....well i guess the only way for me to find out is to try it tonight....... ;-)

I can only speak for myself here m8, maybe different batches have still got this issue.

i can Honestly say though that mine is ok with the volume its the same volume when i switch over different Inputs.

I asked the tuner question there is only the new tuner driver on it.

Ok im convinced im gonna flash it now and see how it goes.

I had a previous working gemini image 4.4. yesterday i flashed it with DK v1 using Flashfxp. the process completed. but nothing came up on the screen. eventually i had to do a hard restart and stil nothing comes up on the tv screen. the box is does not respond to anything. even when i try pressing any keys in the remote the green LED in the front does not even blink. please let me know, how can i go back to my original settings

If you cannot ping the box any more you will need to go out and get a null modem cable from maplins (4 quid) or somewhere like that. Then use dreamup and put an image on that way.

Ok all done working fine on all channels after ftp'ing to the box (very easy) looking good and stable no freezing here (ex-tw), nice 1 DK.

what tuner driver is this image using? i'm having problems on most channels showing service not found, when i go to BBC and back to non FTA channel it works....the problem is that i have to do this everytime i want to watch any channles beside FTA. i remember on DW2 image you could switch tuner drivers, and i found using the old tuner driver was better, has this DKv1 image have this facility?

There is only a single tuner driver in this image and it's the 'newer' of the two that was in the DW v2 image.

Ah so theres a sound issue! i thought it was my tv being odd and having the sound low for some reason
