The one year warranty is not going to happen. You got to fork out money to send to and fro. Most of the time, your box will not be repaired or they will ask you buy another one so that they can ship back this box together. Its a unethical tactic which I encounter lately and will not buy from the same store again. I have been a long time customer with them for 1 year and see how they break their trust.... nvm its ok. I just move on......
For those who still thinks buying local is better, think twice too. Your box has a problem, the best the supplier can do for you is to reflash and they might charge you for it too.
Nevertheless, please speak to your supplier, see what he/she has to say. Then come back here for help. Its always good to share your buying experiences so that other newbies do not fall for the same trick.Last edited by Koonz; 18 January, 2013, 05:53.Comment

the problem is the seller does not reply, so im stuck on my own, i learn how and what to do, reflash and all that,
but would it help i dont know, i dont want to make it worst as it is, for now i can watch normal tv shows like channel 5 and channel 8 as if i can just plug out my dreambox and have no use for it, the thing is now i can scan starhub channels and scroll all around but is all black screens,
so i want to know is it my autoroll key or something?, as i have check that i have keys and all that but don't know if that is the one for the channels,
i tried downloading and installing and changing but to no luck, i need someone with the same problem which has fixed it and so advise and let me understand so i will know what and how to do it.
i want to fix the problem if not for me then for others who have the same problem, and for once keep it simple so everyone can learn...Comment

Please mind the stuff you are posting.
Firstly, we all started out as a noob, knowing nothing and learning stuff along the way. You need help, post in the relevant topics. You have questions, ask nicely!! How will you feel if somebody ask you for favor in real life AGGRESSIVELY/ARROGANTLY?!?!? " For your info, Even if you never ever find a solution, our live still carries on. =))
Secondly, Do not expect to be spoon-fed, this way you will learn nothing. Try to figure it out on your own first, if there are things you are unsure of, use the search button first. You will realize there were alot of repeated questions and answers to it. More often that not, the questions you have can be found. DON'T BE LAZY!!!
Lastly, please refrain from posting KEYWORDS in full ie. our country and our service provider. Because they can easily be found using online search engine.

Got an 800SE in sing, and somehow managed to wipe my So I follow the instructions at the beginning of this thread to get the back?
Anthing I should be wary of, or any way of just reverting to old setup I had without reflashing etc?

For the pros, if most channels are working fine with a few problems like those below, does it mean my software setup is bad or is this issue on cabling/server side meaning there is nothing I can do to remedy them?
I did read somewhere about if no one using the same pipe subscribed to certain channels, it may have no signal. However, the list below includes FTA channels like HD5 (155) and Okto (108).
