Just got info from seller, the new Q5 firmware is out.
Seller is very cautious and tight lipped. I cant post any info. Those who bought Q5 should check back with your seller.

Other models may have to wait a bit longer. I not sure....
Anyway, I wont be using this box anymore. Might just switch to IPTV in future. Nothing interesting on SH

- try bypassing the splitter and go direct to the wall scv outlet, if it solve the problem then u will know its the splitter giving u the problem.
- if problem persist, try now with a new cable(SH provided 1) with the above method. If this doest worked, it could be the tuners problem, contact yr seller. If they r local, they will
replace the set for u. It comes with a yr 1 to 1 warranty.

Just tried. Apparaently your solution work like a charm. Its the splitter prob. But the splitter was installed 3mths back and it wss ok all the way until the day before. Wonder what causes the sudden failure. .

Like I say, don't get so worried about all these custom issues. You can always act ignorant. If they tell you its prohibited items, just say you don't know. You thought it's a Mediabox.

My box got held 3 times. Custom say must pay a fee to bring in this box. Its a permit fee of $15. So I just ask my courier company settle the permit fee. I pay them cash afterwards when they do delivery. Nothing to worried about actually.
DHL, Fedex does not have these issues. Other courier company always kenna

No..I did not even received any notice..it just got re-direct to novena post office..i stay in jurong west..which is strange..btw, I bought from aliexpress and I choose FEDEX as shipping but turn out to be registered mail by singpost

Furthermore, mine is a quad core not a dual core. It is much faster than a dual core. A dual core will have problems handling streaming of HD and 3D movies. Yes, my comes with 3D movies and it can play them without any problems at all.

Nope. No subscription fees.

Be careful, those android boxes that didn't charge annual subscription, user have to find out the source of stream by themselves. TV package inside are almost hot-linking, you will not know when it will unable to view anymore. The cost of bandwidth is very expensive, no paid no gain.
