This is provided that the lan port is working.

As far as I know, there are some batch of boxes (i.e: FYHD, MVHD), the port is only for show but not working or connected on purpose by unethical manufacturer & seller who knows it. They just waiting for the time to come (when workaround is available), they will claim that you box is faulty therefore cannot work with the solution that is available & offer you to buy new box.

This have already been warned many many time not only by me but some other master here yet we still have naive ppl here buying from these unethical seller claiming that their box will work.

I'm expecting some trader here to zapp me which I wun care as I'm just stating the facts.

It will be best if we can boycott these box from unethical seller (i.e: FYHD, MVHD, TNHD & etc). This is not way to do business just like those who milk $$$ & sell card every 3-6 months in the past.

Sg traders that r not informed by yr overseas counterparts that u will need the LAN port for the so call "workaround" and that the old boxes can be reuse(provided that the LAN port is not for display only).

Sad to say, u could be the biggest fxxls , cos u are fxxled to fxxl on yr fellow countryman.

Sad to say, I was never a fool & was not fooled by them as I never purchase any of their box before since they told me about their plan to milk $$$.

Well... Good for you then.

But wonder how you test the lan port since this box does not even have an software that link a PC to the box for editing. As far as I know, the so-called workaround for this box is not even available yet therefore how can you be so sure.

Maybe you have your way to test. I'm not technically or electronically savvy but just advising based on what I know from the maker of these box.

Last but not least, what I have said is a batch (approx. 1,000-2,000 box) not all box that is affected. If anyone is unsure about it, it will be best not to get the box unless you can be very sure the lan port is working or can get refund if the port is not working.

use it to watch youtube so lan muz b work. juz 2 share wif other mvhd users in case they r not aware, tried the x-function wif info from free or test sources (taboo subject here so can't talk too openly) input the relevant info and box says connected but since its not S H so can't c b p l still but at least tested n x-function seems to work as a client box. now only need a s h "connection point" to fully test it. any of the 10 bros can help? hehe. so the solution advertised by the suppliers for this box is basically the same sats solution, only they provide half the solution so waiting for them or someone to provide the other half of the solution. this is juz 4 friendly info sharing based on my limited knowledge so I may be wrong and welcome FRIENDLY discussion. no need to argue abt anyting as all bros here no matter using which box ultimately juz wan free tv (but now no choice need to paid cheaper sub, if n when the connection points r up n running)

Almost forget that this box have youtube & other tube available. You are right, you have your lan port working.

Try addons of Navi-X, SportDevil.

You won't be able to find these addons unless you install some useful repo. Try superrepo.

Google is the best way to find them.

i remembered i install a Merlin 3 dm800 image hv laliga, eurofootball, bpl, etc on al ajeela sports chns, more than 10 of them, dl_stream with fibre 100m was good but i lost that file. cant remeber where i got it. Perhaps google u can dl that wonderful iptv streaming image. Juz a suggestion even after n3, dm still can use as iptv altoh not as good. but it better than use it as doorstop.
