Try again, your file is to big! It should be 700 to 780K at most!

I've tried on Win7 and XP and the result is the same - a 928k file.
I'll attache it once again. EPS.rar
Model is E5832, locked on Orange ROmania, SW 676.11.15.15.112sp01.

And CardLock_UnLock leads to "Data card not found!" (Win7 & XP, no Dashboard loaded).

Any ideas?

Windows 7 will always fall over reading the EFS.

You should be able to enter the unlock code via the web interface on the device... Just type 196.168.1.1 into your browser with the unit switched but with a non-Orange card fitted.

But don't keep trying wrong codes or the device will hard-lock!

These people have the E5832s listed for codes: Huawei Modem Codes

They charge around 4 Euro per code.

To those who have Win7 and getting files larger than what people are saying here should be the maximum:

I am using Win7, followed all the steps as set out in the first page, got a file sized 1.5 meg, applied the Extract Text tool and still got my number (it was the bottom-most one). Unlocked my modem first go. Just wanted to post that because there seems to be a little bit of confusion with the resulting file sizes.
