Huawei E5830, E5832 & E5838 Free Unlock

It is huawei e5832s aka Domino here in france, it is on Orange customized dashboard in which i cannot change the apn thru its original dashboard and the new firmware does not have apn setting in the web interface GUI. If i cannot flash the original dashboard, do you know a way to change the apn for different operator? Thank you!

Hello mr.mahoney, i am still stucked with the issue of apn. I already upgraded the firmware. I dowloaded also the dashboard that comes with the firmware. But if i click exe files it just install mobile partner wifi and do not flash the modem. And also mobile partner cannot detect the modem. Do you have any idea? I appreciate your help. Thanks!

Are you connecting it via a USB cable and are the drivers loaded?

If it doesn't try to flash the modem then you downloaded the wrong version!

I connected it with usb , all drivers loaded, it is detected properly by the pc. I used the firmware with link in this thread. The only thing is how can i flash the dashboard? I have downloaded the dashboard file with your link but it only do is install mobile partner which cannot detect the modem. What are the steps to flash just the dashboard?

2. Place it into maintenance mode as follows...
3. Press and hold ?Mobile Dial Key?, and then press ?Power Switch? button for 5 seconds.
4. Hold buttons until the red signal LED and yellow battery LED are shown.
5. You are now in maintenance mode! Release both buttons.


Accessing the web admin interface:
1) Connect your computer to the MiFi wireless network.
2) Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.1
3) Username = admin and Password = admin
4) The administrator web pages can now be accessed

Thank you very much! But can you check the link you provided to download the dashboard. Because i think it is wrong dashboard installer. Because it is not for flashing the modem, just installing the mobile partner wifi. I am in maintenance mode but what ever exe file i click it just install mpwifi but do not flash e dashboard. Or maybe it is me, can you tell exactly which file to click.

The Windows install of Mobile Partner Wi-Fi should be OK.

If you can't change APN etc., you need to flash unbranded Firmware to the device!

Hello again, sorry to disturb you again, but i followed the steps from unlocking the modem, it is unlock now thanks to you and i also already flashed it with the firmware that you have provided with the link in the thread, the only thing left is to flash the dashboard. With the generic mpartner. Do you know any other dashboard which is self executable to flash the original dashboard because with the link you provided it does not work to flash the modem. Thank you again for your help!

You need to read the ISO from your modem, make a new ISO with the generic Mobile Partner Wi-Fi and then compile into an EXE for flashing.

Hello just to post the results, the program do not detect my modem, Is there anyway i can change my dashboard? What about the update mode " press connect then after power in 5 secs then release button" What is that for? THE screen of the modem says "UPDATE??" what is that for? Thanks a lot for the help!!!!

The update screen is for flashing firmware and dashboard upgrades to your device.

If you have not seen this before, how did you flash new firmware?

My guess is that you still have branded firmware on your device and THIS is the reason that you can't update your APN etc!!

Is there any other way i can unlock a huawei E5830. bought one second hand and the kind soul forgot to tell me he had tried to unlock it already and entered the code in wrong to many times. so when i tried last night it was having none of it. thanks in advance

You could try flashing new firmware and a factory reset afterwards...
