Thanks for your answer Jim but i want to learn how to get code with the qmat. i repeat the process of the first post several times and i always get a 1.05 mb log. I think the log is too large because the modem is branded by orange, what should i do? Change the firmware to an umbranded one ?

Orange firmware does not make a difference, dozens of Orange modems have been unlocked via this method without any fuss.

Usually Windows XP is the most stable for producing the right EFS file. Windows Vista is a no-no! Windows 7 usually locks up!

Try again, your file is to big! It should be 700 to 780K at most!
